Our most important business objective is to conserve and create liveable, accommodating towns, preserve their cultural and architectural heritage as well as to further develop suburbs and districts for current and future undertakings.
Since the beginning of the support of urban development in 1969/1970, BauBeCon Sanierungsträger GmbH has been functioning as a confirmed urban development agency according to the German Federal Building Code. During this time we have completed more than 50 tasks in more than 40 municipalities.
Currently, we are looking after 110 urban development projects in 81 municipalities in four Federal States. The projects are on different scales - ranging from a resort town on the Baltic Sea to a conversion scheme, from the refurbishment of a rural area to World Cultural Heritage – with many different challenges and tasks.
Since September 2008, DSK (Deutsche Stadt- und Grundstücksentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH) has been BauBeCon’s new partner.
DSK, based in Wiesbaden, is a nationwide market leader in the field of urban development and supports municipalities in preparing and executing urban development projects. This includes the site development of residential areas and industrial estates including real estate regulations, the preparation and fiduciary execution of urban development and redevelopment projects and investor models. Overall, DSK is currently in charge of 450 projects in approximately 370 municipalities and employs 200 staff.
GBC BaulandConsult GmbH (www.gbc-baulandconsult.de) - located in Schwaebisch Hall - is also part of the DSK-group. GBC provides full service land development advisory services and participate with several partners in land development companies.
The proven service of BauBeCon Sanierungsträger GmbH is complemented by DSK’s additional services such as area development, project development in structural design, investor models and consulting in the areas of profitability and Public Private Partnership.
